Laura and Giancarlo contacted me because they wanted something special for their wedding in Padua.
They had already chosen the venue, Villa Beatrice d’Este in Baone on the Colli Euganei, a very panoramic spot, but they was looking for an alternative to the usual catering. They wanted to surprise their guests with a barbecue wedding.
Do not be deceived by the common view. The barbecue I’m talking about is a really fancy barbecue with creative and original recipes.
The result was an elegant and unique wedding that amazed newlyweds and guests.
The wedding backstage
There are so many anecdotes from this wedding backstage but I chose the one that show you why you must not underestimate the wedding planner work and her presence on the wedding day.
As usual, I arrived at the venue early in the morning to follow the setting up but I noticed that nobody mowed the lawn in the dinner area: it looked like a jungle.
So I turned the problem solving mode on: I contacted the venue manager (that was not there), she called the gardeners, but they couldn’t come immediately…not in one, two, three hours…
So, in conclusion, we set up the dinner space in a record time: fifteen tables, one hundred and fifty four seats.
The special detail I loved
I have no doubt: the detail that I really loved about this wedding was the recipes book that the bride and the groom made as wedding favours.
Not an ordinary recipes book but a book with their favorite recipes and special photos of them in their kitchen! A special gift that will be a wonderful memory also for the newlyweds.
