Lately I’ve been very busy: many new projects, the organization of the upcoming weddings and so many e-mails waiting for answers (thanks!).
So, I decided to take cue from your e-mails and dedicate this post to the questions you ask me more often. Here you’ll find only some answers, but stay tuned cause a second post will come with more information.
Why hire a wedding planner and what does she do?
Wedding Planner…this stranger! When people ask me “What’s your job?” it’s almost a problem to explain it. A WP is an expert in the design, organization and realization of events and weddings: she plans weddings and events in their entirety.
The task of a WP is to have an entire overview of the event, and to grant a successful event by keeping under control every variable, but she never takes decisions in place of the customers. The WP is your only professional interface during the preparation of your best day, she will arrange and coordinate all vendors.
Relying on a WP means to live with serenity the preparations of the wedding and make a choice of quality: the WP guarantees the success of your event, adherence to the budget, and the attention to details that only a professional can have.
How much do your services cost?
A Wedding Planner is a professional that gives her time and ideas to customers and, depending on the necessary time and creativity spent for the organization of each event, she receives a fee. My Wedding packages start from a minimum of 400€, but, following the couple needs, I realize a custom quote for every event.
How can we get a quote?
The quote is usually made after the first (free) meeting in which we get to know each other, I can listen to your story (I LOVE to hear your love stories!), and I get to understand your needs, your wishes and the available budget. The quote will be then sent within ten days from the meeting.
The quote is not a detailed planning of your marriage, even if during the first meeting we share many ideas and useful information.
Who selects and pays the vendors?
I work with different vendors, none exclusively. I will submit to you different quotes and different vendors, I’ll give you some advice, my ratings and I will explain why a choice could be better than another one, always keeping your budget in mind. The final decision will always be YOURS. I will be happy to collaborate also with vendors that you suggest to me.
All vendors’ contracts will be signed directly with the couple.
How do you manage our budget?
The total cost of a wedding depends on a multitude of factors: the number of guests, the location, the style of the event and also the day of the week or the season you chose.
During our first meeting I will give you an idea of the cost of the services, so you will have an idea of how much you could spend, but the best way is for sure to define your budget in advance. It can happen that some couples have an idea of their wedding that doesn’t fit their budget. In such cases we will find together some alternative solutions. Everything will be as you want it, I promise!
