Third appointment with Unconventional Wedding, the blog section where I meet other vendors who offer special wedding services. Today I meet Valentina Rosatti, photographer, who created for brides-to-be a wonderful
Bridal Boudoir photo shoot. Do you want to know more about it?
Hi Valentina, first of all tell us who you are
Hi Veronica and thank you for hosting me here on your blog. I’m Valentina, first of all I’m a woman, then a portrait photographer with a particular preference for boudoir and glamour photography. I love to tell stories of the people I meet, who rely on me. I’m constantly searching for elegance and beauty that reside in everyone. My mission is to tell the true essence of the women. I capture in my shots that wonderful and charming force that every woman has within herself.
I want to know everything about your Bridal Boudoir photo shoot. What is it about?
A boudoir photo shoot, as well as a glamorous photo shoot, is a real reconnection experience with your own beauty and femininity. Every woman is unique and special and we must celebrate our uniqueness.
A bridal boudoir photo shoot is a Vogue-style photo shooting: a day dedicated to the bride-to-be on a high-quality photographic set with me and my team.
Something magical always happens on the set: we have fun together and we create a surprisingly strong connection that allows me to tell the story of the woman and the future bride I’m portraying.
Where does the photo shoot take place and how long does it take?
The photo shoot takes place inside a suite or design apartments that I specifically rent for the shooting.
We choose the location after the meeting with the bride and it’s an important choice that helps me to give the right atmosphere to the photos. An exclusive location, specifically chosen with the future bride, gives you the opportunity to pamper yourself and concentrate on yourself in absolute freedom. A cozy and exclusive atmosphere makes you feel at ease.
The session lasts three to four hours depending on the chosen package and it also includes the make up and hair styling preparation.
So before the photo shoot, is there someone who deals with the make-up, hairstyle and outfit of the future bride?
Yes, absolutely. Before the photo shoot we make a consultation with the bride: a chat together that helps the future bride in the choice of outfits to wear, the type of makeup and hairstyling that more fit with her figure and style. This chat is also the first deep connection that I have with my client, a time during which, besides discussing make-up and outfit, we try together to understand what pushed her to take this kind of photo shoot.
Why should a bride choose to make a Bridal Boudoir photo shoot?
Choosing to make a boudoir or glamor photo shoot starts always by the desire of every woman to rediscover herself and to be confident with her inside and outside.
Sometimes the perception we have of ourselves, of our images and of our bodies, is distorted for various reasons, and we feel the need to recapture or reconfirm what are our real images.
Most importantly, in view of the big day, we need to be more confident. Wedding is a day when the bride is the main focus of the attention for a whole day, a day when, maybe, we’ll show an aesthetic image we are not used to have: the wedding dress and a perfect hairstyle and makeup.
Taking a moment for ourselves, to be completely confident, will help us on this important day to freely enjoy every moment.
I know that you also offer this kind of photo shoot as an idea for the Bridal Shower. How is this organized?
I organize a real Glamour Party with the bride-to-be besties. At this Glamour Party can take part up to six people, including the bride, and, during the day, I will make portraits of all the participants. The first part of the shooting is devoted to the bride and her shots, during the second part I realize single portraits of each friend and a group portrait to immortalize and share this fantastic experience.
For all the participants there is always an individual consultation with me to help them in the choice of outfits to wear and to identify what aspects of their beauty they wish to emphasize, and a make up and hairstyling service before the photo shoot.
