New post for the Unconvenional Wedding section of the blog and this time I met an exceptional bridal gowns’ italian designer who created a brand new collection of bridal lingerie. Whom am I talking about? She’s Marianna Lanzilli, who needs no introduction and whom I thank for accepting my invitation and being here.
Hi Marianna, first of all tell us who you are.
Hi Veronica, thank you for this interview and for the space you dedicated to me on your blog.
I am a bridal gowns’ designer, my collections are a concentrate of elegance and modernity.
In the center of Milan, my Atelier welcomes those are looking for unique and refined dresses.
I believe in the authentic beauty that only a sartorial product can transmit.
How was the idea of a bridal lingerie collection born?
The lingerie collection for the bride is the natural extension of my wedding dresses collections. I borrowed precious fabrics and delicate lace to transform them into sensual garments.
This collection is thought for the preparation of the bride on the wedding day, but not only. It can be used to enjoy some sexy and intimate photos during a boudoir photo shoot or it can be worn for the wedding night.
What did you inspired by for this collection?
The inspiration for me is always born starting from fabrics, textures, weights and the lightness of the material that shapes silhouettes and volumes in my mind.
There are sensual and elegant garments as gowns and kimonos, but also delicious tops and culottes. Is there an item you are particularly attached to and why?
For the Saturnia model I have a real weak because it is the most theatrical and daring one. The long tail is really scenic and unusual for a piece of lingerie.
How can we buy the items of your brindal lingerie collection?
The lingerie items are available in sizes S, M, L and we’re selling them online. Just contact me by writing the model name and providing some basic measures. We ship throughout Italy and all over the world.
If instead you want to try them before buying, you can come directly to my Atelier, in Corso di Porta Romana 116, Milan. We receive by appointment.
