Fabio e Ying, an italian-chinese couple that lives in London, for a destination wedding in Italy, at Monselice Castle, near Padua.
I have a weakness for couples who have different origins and choose Italy to celebrate their wedding. Often the choice falls in places of international charm as Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast or one of our splendid Lakes.
In this case, instead, the choice fell on the groom’s native land, the Veneto region.
Wedding backstage
The organization of Fabio and Ying’s wedding started just over a year before the wedding day, with the research of the perfect venue.
After exploring several options, the choice fell on Monselice Castle, a truly wonderful place that gave us a special welcome. And I am not just talking about the great availability of its manager.
A few months after confirming the date, in fact, I was warned that the medieval re-enactment would take place throughout the city center, including the entrance of the Castle, on the day of F+Y wedding.
I had only one option: make the bride’s entrance even more fascinating for foreign guests with her passage across the small Medieval village… because the village wouldn’t move from there!
I don’t know if were more curious the Monselice’s residents about the wedding or the guests about the Medieval typical village!
The wedding detail I love
Let’s see if you find the special detail of this wedding …
It’s hidden in the wedding invitation, in the forest on the cover, and it represents one of the common passions of the newlyweds. When they contacted me, in fact, they asked to add it to their wedding.
Do you see that shadow? What is it?
