Lake Como elopement at Villa Monastero

An intimate Lake Como elopement at the beautiful Villa Monastero in Varenna, shaped by the unpredictable elements of an exceptionally windy day.

With the ceremony at risk due to the strong winds, we had to rethink the floral design and adapt the installation to make sure every detail could withstand the weather. 

After the ceremony, the couple decided to take their chances on the lake, heading out by boat and embracing the waves. As it turned out, theirs was the only boat to leave the shore that day — a fittingly adventurous ending to their intimate destination elopement in Italy.

A celebration that was refined, personal and completely connected to the magic — and unpredictability — of Lake Como.
